Columbia University's Mortimer B. Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute and Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons are hiring a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Neuroscience. The institute seeks candidates in genetic/genomic/evolutionary approaches to the neural basis of behavior, optical/chemical/electrical methods combined with computational approaches to link neural circuits to behavior in genetically tractable mammalian systems, behavioral and physiological approaches to cognition, or molecular/cellular/developmental neuroscience.
Candidates need a PhD and/or MD, with demonstrated exceptional ability, creativity, and productivity. The role offers generous startup funding, laboratory space, and mentorship in the Jerome L.
