Assistant Professor or Associate Professor

This Assistant Professor / Associate Professor post is in Health Services Research & Policy at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, within the National Cancer Audit Collaborating Centre (NATCAN). The role is aimed at a statistician, epidemiologist, health services researcher, or data scientist to lead multidisciplinary teams developing and applying analytical methods that turn national cancer datasets into actionable evidence, including understanding treatment and outcome patterns along complex care pathways, handling missing or erroneous records, developing risk models, and communicating findings to drive quality improvement. A doctoral degree in medical statistics, epidemiology, data science, or a related field is required, with demonstrated experience analysing large, complex datasets and a track record of collaborative research. Fixed-term, 1 September 2026 to 30 September 2028. Applications close 1 October 2026.
