Basic Sciences Faculty Position, Bezos Family Distinguished Scholar

The Basic Sciences Division at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is recruiting a senior faculty member (Associate or Full Professor) to lead an independent research program in immunotherapy, precision oncology, data science, or virology/vaccines. The position comes with generous startup funds, an endowed chair, and support for building out a research group and further faculty recruitment. Candidates must hold a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD with a track record of independent, externally funded research and a strong mentorship philosophy; a written statement on fostering a collaborative training environment is required as part of the application. Salary ranges from $210,413 (Associate Professor) to $450,000 (Full Professor), commensurate with rank and experience. Based in Seattle, WA; applications are reviewed through December 31, 2026.
