Syracuse University Department of Biology is recruiting a tenured Associate or Full Professor for the endowed Beverly Petterson Bishop Professorship in Neuroscience. The successful candidate will build an independent research program in the Life Sciences Complex, spanning cell and molecular neurobiology, aging and neurodegeneration, behavioral/systems neuroscience, neurological disease modeling, or developmental neurobiology, while contributing to the Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Program and collaborating with the Aging Studies Institute, BioInspired Institute, and SUNY Upstate Medical University. Requires a PhD in neuroscience, biology, or a related field, an externally funded research program, and a strong publication and teaching record.
