The Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) is seeking a Scientific Director to drive the organisation's next phase of scientific excellence and strengthen its position as a world-leading multidisciplinary Research and Technology Organisation spanning materials, environment, information technologies, and space resources. Reporting to the CEO and serving on the Executive Committee, the Scientific Director will shape LIST's scientific strategy across its research domains.
Candidates need a PhD in natural sciences or engineering, global scientific recognition with a distinguished research track record, a minimum of 15 years of research and innovation experience including at least 5 years in senior leadership (preferably within an RTO), and fluency in English and French. This is a permanent, full-time position based at LIST's Belval campus in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg.
