Work group:Accelerator Operation and Technology Area of research:Technical staff Job description:Reference No. BE 2026/1 The Department Accelerator Operation and Technology is looking for Engineer (f/m/d) in Mechanical Engineering, Physical Technology Your Tasks You will be responsible for the specification and technical conception of complex components in the field of vacuum technology. You will assist in the manufacturing process, commissioning und acceptance of system parts. You will maintain and further develop our vacuum and magnet systems. You will be responsible for procurement processes including writing requests for quotation, awarding contracts, company visits, and company evaluation. You will write specifications, support the company during production, and monitor the schedules.
