Engineering Manager, Arc Vehicle Software

Inversion Space Company is hiring an Engineering Manager for Arc Vehicle Software to lead the team responsible for the complete software development lifecycle of the Arc hypersonic reentry vehicle, including flight software, ground control systems, and autonomy modules. The manager reports to the Chief Engineer of Arc, directs day-to-day software engineering operations, owns delivery and integration of flight/ground software, coordinates with the central Software team on platform standards, integrates GNC algorithms, oversees vehicle state machines and fault protection, and runs software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop test campaigns. Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering, 8+ years of hands-on embedded C++ development experience, proven team leadership, strong embedded Linux and multi-threaded systems knowledge, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret/Top Secret security clearance.
