Post-doctoral Research Associate DISPOP
University of Strathclyde · Glasgow, Scotland, UK
About the role
Post-doctoral Research Associate on the ESRC-funded 'Disability and Political Parties' (DISPOP) project in the Department of Government and Public Policy at the University of Strathclyde. The project examines why disabled individuals remain under-represented in legislatures, comparing how political parties in Denmark, Germany, Spain and the UK engage with disability issues, using quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods (surveys, experiments, interviews, ethnography). The postholder will serve as primary contact for either the Danish or Spanish case study; familiarity with the relevant political system and language proficiency in Danish or Spanish is strongly preferred. Fixed-term, full-time.
