About the role
The Li Group in the Department of Chemistry at the University of British Columbia is hiring a postdoctoral fellow in single-molecule biophysics/biophysical chemistry. The role designs and executes force spectroscopy experiments using atomic force microscopy and optical tweezers, prepares protein samples, develops data analysis pipelines, and mentors students. Requires a PhD in a related field with strong programming/data-analysis skills; prior single-molecule technique experience is a plus. 12-month position starting November 1, 2026, with possible extension.
