About the role
This two-year postdoctoral position is in the Translational PET Imaging research group within Uppsala University's Department of Medicinal Chemistry, in partnership with Science for Life Laboratory. The work develops novel DPP6-targeting PET imaging technologies to monitor beta cell mass, supporting Type 1 Diabetes research and assessment of transplantation therapies.
The role is full-time, starting January 1, 2027 or by agreement, based in Uppsala, Sweden. Candidates need a PhD in pharmacy, biomedicine, or a related field (completed within the last 3 years), fluency in English and Swedish, and prior PET tracer development experience and radiation protection certification are considered merits.
