A postdoctoral position (funded up to 12 months) in Prof. Jawwad Darr's group in UCL's Department of Chemistry, developing and scaling up synthesis of mixed-metal-oxide X-ray scintillator materials used in aerospace inspection and medical imaging, and studying how processing conditions affect phase evolution and particle properties. Requires a PhD in Chemistry, Materials Chemistry, or related inorganic synthetic chemistry with strong wet-chemical-synthesis and materials-characterization skills.
