University of Oxford Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory is recruiting a three-year postdoctoral research associate to work under Professor Michael Neidig on molecular lanthanide chemistry, designing and synthesizing lanthanide coordination complexes and developing design principles to control their optical properties, including ligand design and synthesis, lanthanide complexation, and structural and spectroscopic characterization. Requires a PhD in inorganic chemistry or a related field with experience in synthetic inorganic chemistry and paramagnetic complex characterization.
