About the role
Principal Scientist, Materials Science, at Pfizer (Groton, CT), investigating solid-form and particle properties of pharmaceutical drug molecules. The role involves characterising materials with advanced instrumentation and computational models, leading multidisciplinary teams, and supporting work from early discovery through product launch, regulatory submissions and IP documentation.
Requires a PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Pharmaceutics or a related field with 5+ years of industry experience (or an MS with 10+ years), expertise in crystallisation, X-ray diffraction, microscopy, spectroscopy and thermal analysis, and regulatory submission experience for solid forms.
