Principal Scientist – Protein Formulation & Biophysical Characterization (High-Concentration Biologics)

About the role

Pfizer is hiring a Principal Scientist for its biologics and vaccines formulation group (DPDD-PhRD) in Andover, MA -- a hands-on, lab-focused scientific leadership role developing and implementing novel formulation strategies for high-concentration biologics (mAbs, fusion proteins, bispecifics, ADCs, peptides) in liquid and lyophilized dosage forms, including subcutaneous delivery. The scientist will design and execute studies applying biophysical and physicochemical characterization to mitigate risks like aggregation, viscosity, and stability, serve as a technical subject-matter expert across cross-functional teams, and build external scientific presence through publications and industry collaborations.
