About the role
Solestial, Inc. is hiring a Process Technician to support manufacturing of its ultra-thin, radiation-tolerant silicon solar cells for space applications at its Tempe, AZ facility. The role involves operating cleanroom manufacturing equipment per documented procedures, monitoring equipment parameters and responding to alarms, characterizing partially processed solar cells with diagnostic equipment, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting intermediate-level equipment issues, running basic quality control checks, and collaborating with engineers on process improvements.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (an Associate of Science degree or STEM certification is preferred), ability to work in a cleanroom environment, and basic troubleshooting skills; prior cleanroom, electroplating, or solar/electronics manufacturing experience is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site, Monday-Friday role offering competitive salary plus equity, health/dental/vision coverage, 401(k) matching up to 4%, and generous PTO.
