The University of Glasgow's School of Chemistry is recruiting a Research Facility Manager to lead a newly established Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS) facility within its Materials Characterisation Hub (MATCH). The postholder will oversee installation and commissioning of the SAXS/WAXS equipment, provide technical leadership on the technique, and manage day-to-day operation and safety for a diverse user base across academic and commercial sectors.
This is a full-time (35 hours/week), fixed-term post with two years of initial funding. Note: this is a readvertisement and previous applicants are not eligible to reapply. Closing date 14 October 2026.
