Research Fellow Position Young and research-intensive, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) is ranked among the world's top universities. We are seeking a Research Fellow to investigate sensory processing and neural circuit mechanisms. Job Responsibilities Conduct research on mechanosensory and somatosensory circuits and sensory coding. Develop and apply behavioural assays, calcium imaging and genetic manipulations to study sensory processing and motor sequence generation. Analyse experimental data, maintain reproducible research records and interpret findings in relation to neural circuit mechanisms. Prepare publications and project reports, collaborate with the research team and guide students. Job Requirements PhD in Neuroscience, Biology, Biomedical Sciences or a related discipline. Research experience in sensory neuroscience, neural circuits or neurodevelopmental disorders. Experience with animal models, electrophysiology, behavioural assays and genetic techniques. Proven ability to design experiments, analyse data and publish research findings. Strong scientific writing, communication and teamwork skills.
