About the role
Isomorphic Labs is applying frontier AI to accelerate drug discovery, with an ambition to solve all disease. This Research Leader/Senior Scientist role in Medicinal Drug Design drives drug discovery programs to value inflection points using modern discovery principles, collaborates cross-functionally on data-driven scientific solutions, represents the company externally with collaborators and CROs, and provides strategic input to the company's ML platform teams. Responsibilities include managing CRO resources, monitoring delivery KPIs, and generating intellectual property from the company's research investment. Candidates need a PhD in medicinal or synthetic organic chemistry (or equivalent industry background), 5-8+ years in medicinal chemistry, a track record leading projects from hit identification through lead optimization or candidate nomination, and experience with structure-based drug design.
