About the role

The University of Chicago's Section of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology (BSD Department of Pediatrics) is hiring a Research Manager to support an interdisciplinary research program in life-course epidemiology, environmental and structural determinants of health, and cancer/reproductive outcomes, working closely with the Murphy Lab on NIH-funded studies using complex epidemiologic, clinical, and registry-linked data. Responsibilities include analytic leadership and data integration across registries, biospecimens, and administrative sources; coordinating multi-project research operations; managing data governance (DUAs, MOUs, data-sharing agreements); and contributing substantively to grant applications, progress reports, and manuscripts. Preferred qualifications include 10+ years of research experience, an MPH or related master's degree, and proficiency in R, SAS, or Python.
