The University of Leicester's Institute for Environmental Futures is hiring a Research Synthesis Specialist (Research Associate) to design and conduct a systematic synthesis of outputs from the LUNZ Programme, assessing their relevance to emerging land-use policy across the UK's four nations. The role involves leading report and manuscript production, managing co-author contributions, and coordinating with the LUNZ Hub consortium, within an institute of around 200 researchers spanning social, natural, and life sciences.
Requires a PhD or equivalent professional experience in a relevant discipline, strong critical thinking and research synthesis skills, and an understanding of UK land-use issues in climate and nature-policy contexts. Fixed-term from 13 November 2026 to 28 February 2027; closes 20 October 2026.
