Scientific Computer Engineer, Staff Cloud Infrastructure

Revolution Medicines is hiring a Staff Cloud Infrastructure / Scientific Computer Engineer in Redwood City, CA ($164,000-$205,000 USD) to build, operate, and improve the infrastructure foundations supporting computational science, data engineering, analytics, and business operations. The role emphasizes site reliability engineering, Kubernetes operations, observability, Databricks infrastructure, and cloud financial management (FinOps), partnering with scientific, data, security, and IT stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, scalable compute and platform services for R&D and scientific computing workloads, including HPC and scheduler-based workloads. Requirements include a B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience); 8+ years in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or SRE/DevOps roles; strong experience with AWS/Azure and Terraform; hands-on production Kubernetes experience; and experience operating Databricks or a comparable managed data platform.
