About the role

Generate:Biomedicines is hiring a Scientist I with a background in immunology, particularly T cell immunobiology, to support development of AI-enabled protein-based therapeutics for immune-mediated diseases in Somerville, MA. The highly laboratory-focused role independently plans and executes in vitro experiments using human primary immune cells (PBMCs, purified T cells), applying high-parameter flow cytometry and quantitative immunoassays (ELISA, AlphaLISA, MSD) to characterize mechanism of action. Requires a PhD in immunology, cell biology, or a related field (or equivalent experience), hands-on expertise in primary immune-cell isolation and culture, flow cytometry panel design, and core molecular biology and biochemistry techniques (PCR/qPCR, cloning, Western blotting).
