About the role
Freenome is hiring a Senior Research Associate (Contractor, via third-party staffing provider) for its Genomics Assay Development team, developing assay technologies for the company's multiomic early cancer detection platform. The role designs and runs experiments to optimize assays for complex blood-based analytes (e.g. cfDNA whole-genome sequencing), performs sample preparation and assay characterization, and translates lab protocols into validated clinical production processes under cGLP/cGDP documentation standards, working cross-functionally with R&D, automation, and clinical operations.
