About the role
Arc Institute is hiring a Senior Research Associate, Viral Production on an 18-month fixed-term contract to produce lentivirus for the Institute's research screening initiatives, from small-scale arrayed productions through large-scale pooled-library runs. Duties include QC and functional titration of viral lots, cross-functional demand forecasting and scheduling, documentation in Benchling, inventory/reagent management, and process optimization.
Requires a BS with 4+ years (or MS with 2+ years postgraduate) experience in viral production, hands-on large-scale lentivirus production, mammalian cell culture, and viral titration. Arc Institute is a nonprofit research organization in Palo Alto focused on AI-biology integration. Not eligible for visa sponsorship.
