About the role
Freenome is hiring a Senior Software Engineer II to grow its Platform team as the company moves from R&D to commercial launch of its multi-cancer detection blood tests. The role builds and operates a multi-tenant governed data lakehouse and query infrastructure, architecting for multi-tenancy and data governance, integrating cloud services, optimizing Kubernetes clusters, and supporting research/ML-ops workflows for scientists and analysts. Requires 6+ years building production systems, strong Python (plus another language), Linux expertise, and hands-on cloud infrastructure experience (Azure or GCP preferred) with Kubernetes at scale.
