Sr Bioinformatics Engineer

Roche is hiring a Sr Bioinformatics Engineer to serve as the bioinformatics technical lead supporting internal Roche teams, external collaborators, and customers. The role trains and supports customers implementing data analysis pipelines, acts as a liaison between marketing, sales, and scientific support teams, assists with sales presentations and customer meetings, and identifies operational bottlenecks. Travel of 10-25% is expected for on-site customer support and training. Candidates need either a PhD in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or Computational Biology with 3+ years of experience, or a Master's with 8+ years. Preferred skills include Python, Git, workflow tools like Nextflow or Snakemake, Linux administration, troubleshooting data pipelines, next-generation sequencing data analysis, cloud computing, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
