Sr. Software Test Automation Engineer

Pulse Biosciences develops CellFX nsPFA (nanosecond Pulsed Field Ablation) bioelectric medicine technology, pursuing surgical and percutaneous treatment applications including atrial fibrillation. This Sr. Software Test Automation Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for the company's FDA-regulated medical device software, working with software, systems, and quality engineering to build reusable test automation, simulators, and CI/CD-integrated regression suites, and to support verification and validation activities on embedded/real-time systems (Linux, QNX). Requires a bachelor's degree in a technical field, 5+ years of software development, test, or test automation experience, proficiency in Python and Shell/Bash on Linux/QNX-type systems, and familiarity with Git/Bitbucket and Jira; embedded, real-time, or regulated medical-device testing experience is preferred. The role is onsite in Hayward, CA (candidates must reside in the San Francisco Bay Area; no relocation offered), with a base salary range of $130,000-$160,000 for the Northern California location.
