The Department of Chemistry at the University at Albany, SUNY, is hiring a tenure-track Assistant Professor in materials and applied chemistry, starting Fall 2027. The successful candidate will establish an externally funded, experimental research program in advanced materials/applied chemical science while contributing to undergraduate and graduate education, mentoring and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Requires a PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or a closely related field completed before appointment. Salary commensurate with qualifications; initial application review begins October 15, 2026.
