About the role

Prime Medicine is hiring an Associate Scientist/Engineer II for its Technology, Development and Operations (TDO) RNA chemistry team in Cambridge, MA, supporting development, optimization, and tech transfer of a manufacturing process for its Prime Editing gene-editing platform. This hands-on role performs solid-phase chemical synthesis of long guide RNA and downstream purification (chromatography, TFF, lyophilization) at multiple scales, conducts manufacturing of IND-enabling and GLP/GMP RNA guides, authors technical reports, SOPs, and batch records, and maintains lab instruments such as ÄKTA synthesizers/purifiers, preparative HPLC, and TFF skids, working cross-functionally with Research, Technical Development, and Quality.
