Beam Therapeutics, a precision genetic medicines company built on base-editing technology, is hiring an Associate for its Laboratory Operations team in Cambridge, MA. The cGMP-facing role supports lab operations and facility management across both R&D and GMP environments, serving as the day-to-day user and data steward of the site's Computerized Maintenance Management System (Blue Mountain RAM), covering asset records, preventive maintenance, calibration, and work order documentation.
Responsibilities include executing work order lifecycles, supporting commissioning and qualification activities (URS, FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ) for GMP lab equipment, partnering with Validation, Quality, and Engineering & Facilities on equipment selection and troubleshooting, and supporting root cause analysis for equipment-related deviations. Requires an AS or BS in a life science or related field and working knowledge of cGMP/21 CFR Parts 210/211/Part 11.
