About the role
Karolinska Institute's Department of Clinical Neuroscience (Professor Maja Jagodic's research group) is hiring a PhD student to investigate cell-free DNA (cfDNA) and molecular processes associated with neurological conditions, combining epigenetics, bioinformatics, and neuroimmunology. Responsibilities include participating in experimental and computational aspects of the research, generating high-throughput sequencing data, developing computational and statistical analyses, and contributing to scientific writing.
Candidates need a Master's degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, molecular biology, or a related field, programming skills in R and/or Python, experience with Linux-based environments, and English proficiency.
