About the role

The University of Luxembourg (Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine) is recruiting a Doctoral Researcher to study the impact of Wnt signalling on C2C12 progenitor cells and differentiation, developing biosensors to measure protein interactions within the Wnt pathway. The project investigates how context-specific peptidic ligands targeting β-catenin may restore aberrant differentiation, combining differentiation assays with confocal localisation studies using dedicated BRET biosensors. Candidates need a Master's degree in Biochemistry, Developmental Biology, or a related field with excellent academic standing, proficiency in molecular biochemistry, fluorescence microscopy, and bioluminescence techniques, and cell culture experience. The role is funded under the MSCA mobility scheme (applicants must not have resided in Luxembourg for more than 12 months in the 36 months before recruitment). Applications close November 30, 2026.
