About the role

The Division of Immunology and Rheumatology in Stanford University's Department of Medicine is seeking a physician-scientist or scientist for a faculty appointment at Assistant or Associate Professor level, on either the University Medical Line (clinical care and teaching emphasis) or University Tenure Line (research and teaching emphasis). The division is looking for expertise in autoimmune disease, immunologic mechanisms, immune reset, genomics, informatics, clinical trials, or translational research in autoimmune, inflammatory, and rheumatic disease. Applicants must hold an MD, PhD, or MD/PhD and demonstrate outstanding translational or basic research capability, along with an established research program or demonstrated ability to secure peer-reviewed funding; board certification is desired but not required. Base salary ranges from $204,000-$222,000 (Assistant Scientist) up to $294,000-$307,000 (Associate Physician-Scientist), excluding additional compensation program benefits.
