About the role
The Shinde Lab at the Microbiomes Institute, University of South Florida, is hiring a postdoctoral fellow to investigate how microbial and host metabolic signals shape tumor-associated macrophage and T-cell function in pancreatic cancer. The work is interdisciplinary, combining microbiology, immunology, immunometabolism, and multi-omics with mouse models and organoid studies.
Valued expertise includes gut microbiome research with bacterial culture and CRISPR-based editing, flow cytometry, macrophage/lymphocyte culture, molecular biology, mouse surgery, and multi-omics analysis (scRNA-seq, spatial transcriptomics) with bioinformatics support. A PhD in biomedical sciences or a related field is required. Applicants must apply online and separately email rsshinde@usf.edu with a cover letter, CV, three references, and optional reprints.
