About the role
The Yang Lab at Columbia University is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to study cancer cell cycle regulation and therapeutic resistance. The research combines live single-cell imaging with fluorescent biosensors, CRISPR functional genomics, and patient-derived organoid models, across breast cancer, melanoma, and lung cancer projects.
Candidates need a PhD in cell biology, cancer biology, molecular biology, or a related field, plus at least one first-author publication. Experience with quantitative imaging, CRISPR functional genomics, or mammalian cancer models is desired. The lab offers access to imaging and genomics core facilities, fellowship application support, and subsidized housing through Columbia Residential.
