About the role
Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Cambridge Institute for Medical Research (CIMR), Department of Haematology, in Professor Alan Warren's lab. The project investigates how ribosomes become licensed to enter the actively translating pool and how defects in this licensing process contribute to human disease, using yeast genetics, CRISPR/Cas9 mammalian cell engineering, ribosome purification, translation assays, Ribo-seq, and cryo-EM. Two-year fixed-term contract; applications close 30 September 2026.
