About the role
The Hillman Lab, within the newly formed Department of Imaging Sciences at St Jude Children's Research Hospital, is seeking a postdoctoral research associate interested in developing and applying advanced optical imaging methods. The role spans three areas: building high-speed 3D microscopy systems (SCAPE/light-sheet, two-photon, and vibrational imaging), developing data acquisition and analysis pipelines to characterize cell types and connectivity in the mammalian brain (including spatial-omics and digital pathology), and wide-field optical mapping of awake mice to study brain-behavior relationships.
The lab welcomes candidates from physics, engineering, or biology backgrounds with novel or complementary skill sets; a doctorate is expected for the postdoctoral role. This is a full-time position available immediately at St Jude's Memphis campus.
