King's College London's Randall Centre for Cell & Molecular Biophysics (Prischi Lab) is recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Associate for an MND Association-funded project studying Annexin A11's role in neurodegeneration, particularly amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). The lab investigates molecular mechanisms underlying protein-RNA interactions using structural and biophysical approaches.
The successful candidate will lead protein NMR and SAXS characterisation alongside associated cell biology studies, mapping protein interaction networks and understanding how disease-associated mutations disrupt interactions and promote aggregation. The role involves collaboration with the Mizielinska lab at UK DRI and the Adinolfi lab in Turin. This is a full-time, onsite, 36-month fixed-term post starting no sooner than 1 November 2026, paying £45,031 to £47,379 per annum including London Weighting.
