About the role
Postdoctoral Research Associate position in the School of Genetics and Cancer / Institute of Genetics and Cancer at the University of Edinburgh, in Professor Andrew Jackson's group, studying how DNA methylation influences stem cell behaviour, tissue regeneration and ageing.
The researcher will use stem cell culture, epigenomic engineering, CRISPR technology and mouse models to investigate links between cellular clocks and mammalian size and longevity, with an eye toward therapeutic applications. The role sits within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
Fixed-term for 3 years, full time (35 hours/week).
