The University of Birmingham's Department of Immunology and Immunotherapy (College of Medicine and Health) is recruiting a Research Fellow for a 36-month postdoctoral post in Dr John Lindner's group. The project will develop and apply high-throughput approaches to discovering ligands of T and B cell receptors in contexts such as autoimmune disease and immuno-oncology, building on the group's recently published T-FINDER system and generating and analysing human lymphocyte data.
The postholder will receive training in high-throughput methods and work within an interdisciplinary team of postdocs and PhD students. Requirements include a PhD in a relevant discipline, experience with flow cytometry, mammalian cell culture and immunological assays, and familiarity with T/B cell receptor sequencing and high-throughput liquid handling.
