About the role
VIB's Flow Core at Campus Gasthuisberg in Leuven is hiring a full-time, permanent Research Technician. The role involves maintaining and performing quality control on flow cytometry equipment (FACS analyzers, cell sorters, gentle cell separators), managing stock and QC programs, training researchers on analyzers and sorting machines, and assisting with data acquisition, analysis, and presentation, reporting to the Flow Core Head.
Requires a professional bachelor's degree in life sciences or industrial engineering with lab experience and strong English communication skills; flow cytometry/FACS experience and familiarity with analysis software such as FlowJo are preferred.
