Bristol Myers Squibb is hiring a Scientific Director, Clinical Pathology — a veterinary clinical pathologist to join its Nonclinical Drug Development Sciences group in New Brunswick, NJ. The role provides expert scientific interpretation and integration of clinical pathology data from nonclinical development studies, serves as scientific advisor to the Clinical Pathology laboratory, reviews GLP/non-GLP study protocols and clinical pathology endpoints, prepares reports supporting regulatory submissions, and acts as an independent reviewer for outsourced toxicology studies, including complex cytology, bone marrow, and biomarker findings.
Candidates need a DVM (preferably with an MS or PhD) and ACVP board certification in Clinical Pathology or board eligibility, at least 8 years of relevant biopharma/CRO experience with substantial responsibility interpreting nonclinical clinical pathology data, a track record supporting product registration and regulatory dossiers, and solid GLP knowledge. This is a hybrid role based in New Brunswick, NJ; the posted compensation range is $238,970-$289,574.
