About the role

Bristol Myers Squibb's RNA Purification Process Development team is hiring a Scientist to design efficient, robust, scalable purification processes for drug substance programs spanning early- to late-stage development across circular and linear mRNA modalities. Work includes designing and analyzing experiments (DoE, statistical modeling, high-throughput/automated setups) to define chromatography and filtration (TFF/UF-DF) unit operations and their critical parameters, collaborating with analytical teams on RNA/impurity characterization and with upstream process development on IVT feed streams, and supporting technology transfer to GMP manufacturing. Requirements: a degree in Bio/Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry or related field, with a BS (6+ years), MS (4-6 years), or PhD (0-2 years) of relevant experience; expertise in chromatography, filtration, and separation unit operations; solid grounding in DoE and multivariate data analysis; and experience with process analytics such as HPLC, CE, and gel electrophoresis. Knowledge of cGMP/ICH/QbD principles is expected. This is a Cambridge, MA role with a posted compensation range of $110,810-$134,281.
