Skyways designs, builds, and operates fully autonomous, hybrid-electric long-range cargo aircraft that take off like a helicopter and cruise like a plane, with its V3 aircraft carrying a 100 lb payload up to 1,000+ miles. This Staff Mechanical Engineer role, based on-site in Austin, TX, leads the architecture, design, integration, and flight validation of critical aircraft structures, owns complex hardware integration across propulsion and payload systems, resolves system-level interface and performance tradeoffs, and mentors other engineers while helping set engineering standards.
