About the role

Inversion is hiring a Parachute Systems Engineer II to design and develop parachute systems for its Arc reentry spacecraft, from concept through manufacturing, as part of the Accurate Landing Team, working with customers on design requirements and supporting deployment-system testing. Requires a bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience), 2+ years of parachute design with significant project ownership, hands-on textile skills (sewing/rigging), and the ability to obtain and maintain a US government Secret/Top Secret clearance. Preferred: CAD proficiency, drop-test experience, USPA or FAA Senior Rigger certification. On-site in Playa Vista, CA.
