About the role

The Department of Neuroscience at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine is recruiting a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor across the breadth of neuroscience - molecular, cellular, synaptic, circuit, systems, computational, or behavioral - with particular interest in candidates bringing new scientific directions, conceptual frameworks, or emerging technologies. Assistant Professor applicants need a demonstrated record of success obtaining competitive extramural funding (e.g., NIH K99/R00 or equivalent); Associate Professor applicants need an established independent research record with sustained external funding. The position comes with a competitive start-up package, modern lab and office space, and access to institutional core facilities and NIH-supported training programs in Chicago.
