The Chinese Institute for Brain Research (CIBR) in Beijing — jointly established by Beijing Municipality, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and major universities — is recruiting Principal Investigators in neuroscience at multiple faculty levels, including Research Fellow, Assistant Investigator, Associate Investigator, and Investigator. Research areas of interest include brain-computer interfaces and neural recording technologies, brain and artificial intelligence applications, and the mechanisms and therapeutics of neurological disease. Successful candidates will lead independent labs among CIBR's 38 PI-led groups, with access to 11 shared core facilities.
Candidates should hold a PhD or MD with postdoctoral training or industrial experience and a track record of research achievement; Research Fellow applicants should have received their doctoral degree within the last two years and show strong scientific promise. CIBR offers start-up packages, internationally competitive salaries and benefits, and secured funding for six years with renewal contingent on international review.
