The Department of Biology at the University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Evolutionary Biology, starting July 2027, to investigate fundamental questions about evolutionary processes in non-model organisms through genomic, ecological, and organismal approaches. The department supports roughly 800 undergraduate majors, 80 graduate students, and 24 tenure-track faculty, with genomics, proteomics, and bioinformatics core facilities and about $7 million in annual extramural funding.
Candidates need a PhD in biology, evolutionary biology, or a related field, plus relevant postdoctoral experience and a strong publication record.
