St Jude Children's Research Hospital is recruiting a Chair for its Department of Biostatistics, a 75-member department (18 faculty, 39 staff statisticians/bioinformaticians, plus support staff) in Memphis, Tennessee. The Chair will provide strategic and academic leadership, mentor faculty, secure external funding, and advance research across clinical trial design, statistical genetics, Bayesian methods, machine learning, and AI, while overseeing a Biostatistics Shared Resource and an MS program in Applied Biomedical Data Science. Requires a PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field with credentials for a full Professor appointment and a strong record of leadership and scholarship, preferably in a cancer center or academic medical setting.
