St Jude Children's Research Hospital is hiring a Scientist in Dr. Francisco Robles' Optical Imaging and Spectroscopy Lab within the Department of Imaging. The role leads an independently mentored research project that may include handheld/probe-based clinical imaging, computational reconstruction and real-time analysis pipelines, AI-enabled analysis methods, point-of-care and DUV microscopy systems for cytology, noninvasive imaging of 3D biological models, and oversight of cell culture and preclinical protocols.
Requires a PhD (or equivalent experience: 8 years with a bachelor's, 6 with a master's) in biomedical engineering, electrical/computer engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, biology, or a related field, with strong MATLAB/Python skills and a record of peer-reviewed publication. Salary is $86,320-$154,960 per year.
